The European Ventilation Hygiene Association (EVHA) was founded in 1999 by a small group of people representing a number of countries across Europe. The purpose for founding this Association was based on the idea that one day Ventilation Hygiene would play a huge role within the Union and therefore, it was imperative that a degree of professionalism was brought to an industry that was and still is, in its infancy. Our objectives are to promote the Ventilation Hygiene industry within Europe and lobby for legislation and being recognised as the sign of competence and quality.

There are of course a number of Associations within each member country that endeavour to provide guidance on ventilation hygiene. For those of us that are involved on a day to day basis with indoor air hygiene issues, it is important that we increase our knowledge and techniques and avail ourselves with all the up-to-date information and understanding of technological advances as they become available.

The EVHA has a current membership across a broad spectrum of companies that are actively involved in the ventilation hygiene marketplace, including; contractors manufacturers and university professionals. The aim is to unify our marketplace throughout Europe and become a voice, a single voice, for all those that care passionately about our industry and our environment.

We cannot make a difference alone, but together we can bring about change, that will increase the awareness, institute common goals, develop new standards and increase business growth.
